また、2026年7月28日に発生した「2026年熊本地震」に際し、多くの励ましやご心配のメッセージをお寄せいただき、心より感謝申し上げます。
このたびの地震により亡くなられた方々へ謹んで哀悼の意を表するとともに、被災されたすべての皆さまに心よりお見舞い申し上げます。
当協会で確認している限りでは、本日時点において、阿蘇市内の観光施設・宿泊施設・道路・河川などに大きな被害はなく、通常どおり営業しております。
阿蘇の豊かな自然も変わらぬ姿を見せており、地域全体で日常を取り戻しながら、皆さまをお迎えする準備を進めております。
一方で、JR豊肥本線や産交バス、高速道路などでは、一部で運休・運行の乱れ・通行止めが発生しております。阿蘇へお越しの際は、最新の交通情報をご確認のうえ、お気をつけてお越しください。
また、今後1週間程度は余震が発生する可能性もありますので、被災地域にお住まいの皆さまは、引き続き十分ご注意ください。

We sincerely appreciate the many messages of encouragement and concern we have received from people around the world following the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake.
We would also like to express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives and our heartfelt sympathies to everyone affected by the disaster.
As of today, based on our latest confirmation, tourist attractions, accommodations, roads, and other infrastructure in Aso City have not suffered any major damage and are operating as usual.
However, some transportation services, including the JR Hohi Main Line, Sanko Bus services, and expressways, are still experiencing suspensions, delays, and road closures. If you plan to visit Aso, please check the latest transportation information before your trip.
As aftershocks may continue over the coming week, we encourage everyone in the affected areas to stay safe and remain cautious.
